G.Skill DDR400 at CL2 or DDR500 at CL3?

The cost difference is enough for me to go towards the DDR400 kit, as is the latency. However, overclocking might happen in the near future.

Which kit should I get?
 
A64 likes bandwidth. go for the DDR500. besides, i am sure that the DDR500 stuff will do 2-2-2-5 at DDR400.
 
it shoudl run fine... im still running my Kingmax DDR400 kit that i got and it defaults to

2.5 4 4 8

ive run it at 2 2 2 6 i think... and this was the 80 dollar kit on newegg.... oh and itll go up to DDR 450
