I have a question regarding the purchase of dual channel 16GB DDR3 1866 Trident X memory. My question is whether the memories are compatible with my first generation i7 platform: i7 860 (OC 4ghz) and Asus Sabertooth 55i. Will it be compatible?. I'm sure it's designed for second and third generation, I don't know if it works in first generation.

Gskill has a RAM configurator but recently they removed the memory options for the P55 chipset from the web.
