is there any specific reason why you need 4gb in 2 sticks? it would be WAY cheaper to get 2 sets of 2x1gb sticks, they'll most likely oc better, and it's more common knowledge as to which ones are d9's. there's a list of which chips are on which ram sticks somewhere.

i think that's it.

I need 4 gb because I use vista 64 bit and photoshop CS3. Price is not a problem. I will check that link out you listed.

I don't know if D9 comes in 2 GB modules. I've never thought about this, actually. Is D9GMH/GKX restricted to 1 GB modules?

yeah, site must be down or something.

even if you could get a 4gb matched pair (2x2gb) with d9's it probably wouldn't overclock too well, which defeats the purpose of getting d9's in the first place. just get 4x1gb sticks, it'll still run in dual channel and everything, so i don't see the problem.

if you still want to waste the extra money, you can give it to me as a reward for "showing you the light" ;).

I probably wouldn't get those modules. CAS5 at DDR2-800 is kinda gross. Gskill is a very good company however.

Personally i would go for 4x1gb of crucial PC2-6400 or something. I dunno if you want room for upgrading then go for something like you have already selected.

Could you provide a little more info on what you want to do with your system? You can pm me if you wish
