Well aerosmith was like in the early 70's. I just heard an interview with slash about how alot of his style came from joe perry.
So mid 70's when joe perry was around and late 80's when slash arrived.
I play some of their music on the piano. It's pretty basic, but you have to mentally move everything down a half-step when playing because for some odd reason they tuned their instuments a half-step lower than normal.
From their older music, I liked "Mama Kin". From their mainstream music, I liked "It's So Easy". And from their later music, I liked "Coma'. Ever listen to the CD "Spaghetti Incident?" Very bad CD, but "Human Being" is OK off of it.
GnR could have been the next AC/DC or Rolling Stones. Rock legends. Yes they were a band of that calibre. But Axle couldn't hold it together. It's too bad.
