I'm so pissed I can't see straight. One of my g/f's cats pissed on the couch AND in the corner. HTF do you clean something like this? It happened in the past hour.

At what fscking point do you wonder your level of importance in someone's life. Ugh. I'm beyond sick of these cats.

EDIT:
I took the couch outside and cleaned it using a hose. It was only the reclining foot part that got hit, so it was a relatively 'thin' part of the couch that dried completely in 3-4 hours.

There is a hint of smell left, but the carpet cleaning guy was able to get all of the piss out.

We'll see.

Also, I told her the cats have to go. It had nothing to do with this thread though, and very little to do with the couch. I just don't want pets.

Cat innards, applied with a smooth stroke, are surprisingly effective as a cleansing agent.

Is the problem that you don't really want to live with pets or, the cat peed on your furniture? Is the cat fixed? Try Zero Pet Odor at PetSmart. If you can't live with animals, let your gf know now. Be prepared to lose the gf though.

power washer... just take the couch outside, and put a mask on b/c you don't want flying cat piss droplets on your face and shoot that couch with 2600 psi... scare the piss right out of it

setting it down gently works as well
oooooooooooooh. I initially read it as: take the cat outside, then give it a drop kick; but now i see it was meant as 'sending it out via a drop kick'.

And even once it's removed beyond your threshold of perception, cats will still smell it. Once it's been peed on, it is marked as being suitable as a bathroom. At least that's been the experience with my cats.
Sure they're cute and furry and playful and all, but I don't much care for the various excremental "habits." Stuff comes out of both ends too often and too unpredictably.

I'm done with the cats. If the g/f wants to leave with them, that's her choice. I'm sick of cleaning up after them, sick of picking fscking cat litter off of my feet, sick of all of it.

Vinegar at first, after a day of soaking some ammonia. Cats hate ammonia. After a week, spray something that smells nice on it and you'll never know it was there.

Cat piss is seriously the nastiest liquid on earth. You may be able to get the discoloration out, but the smell will be there FOREVER.

I would never accept that. I dont care who she is. You need to tell her now that no cats in the house. If that can't be respected then she needs to go get a cat person to date instead. That would drive me nuts. It's so disgusting to have animals in the house (that aren't in cages or fish tanks).

Zero Pet Odor WILL remove the smell AND the stain. Look at it this way, now you know that you cannot live with animals. So don't, better for you and better for the animals

Cats are disgusting filthy animals. You can try some of those things like Nature's Miracle, but I doubt you'll ever really get the smell out. And the cats will probably still smell it and want to pee there again.
