I am looking at two different cards. Both are made my Leadtek, one is the G Force 2 GTS (255.00) and the other is the G Force 2 Pro (309.00). My first question is Leadtek a good card. My second question is will it be worth the extra $54.00 for the Pro? Im sure I could find elsewhere to spend $54 bucks

Yes they are pretty good brand as for GTS or PRO this depends on the resolutions you play games in, if you play in 32 bit colour above 1024*768 then the Pro will give you better FPS,but only you can really decide if it`s worth the extra money,if you are the sort of person that keeps there graphics card for awhile then yes,if not get the GTS.

I usually upgrade everything once a year to six months. I usually stick to 1024 x 768 32 bit. How much better will the FPS be?

you can almost always overclock the GTS 64MB cards to 200/400, which is the EXACT same speed as the GTS-Pro

I think I will save the $54 bucks and buy a Blue Orb, heat sinks and some more fans for my case :D.

gts of course unless money is not the issue for you. You see GTS goes for around 130 to 150 now and pro is more than 100+ more. And, if you got the money why not buy ultra or wait get NV20.

No, no , no. Buy one of the overclockers golden sample geforce pro's ( i think thats what there called). Those things are guaranteed to overclock very high. They come VERY close to ULTRA performance and most of the time they are about 2-5 fps away from it.
