Any particular reason Crackdown 2 is in italics?

Nothing terribly interesting there, hope they surprise us.

Nope. Just a mistake on my part when copying the list of games over.

I'd expect more on Project Natal. There may be one or two announcements (like the FFXIII and SC:C bundles) but they are probably holding most of the new announcements until GDC and E3.

I know most probably don't care about my thoughts on these games but I'll give 'em nonetheless...

Alan Wake - Passed into vaporware and back again, sort of lost it's luster after all these years
Crackdown 2 - Probably the most interesting game in the group, I may pick this one up.
Fable III - Didn't find Fable 2 particularly fascinating, hopefully they'll beef up the series for 3.
Halo: Reach - Please M$ hear my plea...let the franchise DIE! I'm forcing myself through ODST, my gosh is it a terrible game...
Splinter Cell: Conviction - Another franchise they need to let die...
Final Fantasy XIII - While the game looks a bit iffy I'll wait for more info on it.
Dead Rising 2 - Didn't like the first but I can appreciate a fantastic game premise.
Lost Planet 2 - GoW characters moving to another game? Yet again, why oh why?
Ghost Recon - Bleh
Perfect Dark XBLA - I might actually buy this...online MP?
Game Room on Xbox LIVE - I know nothing about this.

Only for multi-player. They won't be in the single-player or co-op story.

Ghost Recon - Bleh
I've yet to see anything one way or the other to make a determination on this game.

Perfect Dark XBL - I might actually buy this...online MP?
Yep, online multiplayer

Game Room on Xbox LIVE - I know nothing about this.
Remember how Xbox Live was first flooded with retro but slightly updated arcade games? They're essentially moving them to a "Game Room" and reducing the price to like $3 a game. You'll also be able to share the games with friends online and challenge them to beat your high score Costanza style.

Ahh, game room sounds interesting, hopefully it works well in reality.

And even if GoW chars are MP only it's still silly. I mean, that'd be like me putting Sega characters in a game with Mario...oh...wait...

It's been a long time coming, but Alan Wake is still on my shortlist of games for 2010. While it can't hope to live up to the hype of what, 5 years, hopefully it will provide a solid gameplay experience.

Alan Wake - Luckily for me I never heard of this game until a couple weeks ago, so I don't have hugely built up expectations. Maybe it'll be good. I'll wait for reviews. I did hear it's by the same developer who did Max Payne, and I thought those were good games, so I'll have to keep my eyes open.
Crackdown 2 - Played the first game after I got it for $10 from NewEgg. I didn't feel ripped off at that price but I wouldn't dream of paying full retail price either. Will wait for reviews + bargain bin.
Fable III - Never been into medieval fantasy type stuff, so I'll pass.
Halo: Reach - I kind of enjoy Halo 3 but only really for the multiplayer. The last Halo game with a good single player campaign was Halo 1, IMO. Don't know if that's the nostalgia effect or if I'm onto something, but either way I don't really care about the story enough to want this. Maybe if the MP is greatly improved. If there's one thing about Bungie I really admire, it's their level of community support (in sharp contrast with Activision/Infinity Ward who don't seem to care at all).
Splinter Cell: Conviction - Never played a Splinter Cell game. Well, I think I tried the first one but I couldn't figure it out and put it away never to return very quickly. If it gets good reviews it might be a good way to start, but something tells me the series has gone on so long there's no way they can salvage it.
Final Fantasy XIII - I've never been even slightly interested in any Final Fantasy game.
Dead Rising 2 - The first was awful. Sorry all you people who liked it. I couldn't get used to the bad controls and asinine save system.
Lost Planet 2 - Never heard of this game or series... just another generic third person shooter? Maybe it'll be good? Maybe I'll try the demo.
Ghost Recon - Again, no opinion really... I'll have to try the demo.
Perfect Dark XBLA - Never played the old N64 one so I don't have any nostalgia to help me choke down the old-school graphics.
Game Room on Xbox LIVE - I'll probably forget about this before it even comes out.

Sorry for all the negative nancy comments! Nothing just seems very impressive to me.

Haha, some of the Halo Reach screeshots are such BS. No way is the game going to run at 1920x1080 with such nice anti-aliasing and filtering.

I've been surprised before... you'd figure Microsoft would be able to pull it off, if it could be pulled off.

Personally, I'm most excited about Fable III, FF13, and Crackdown 2.
