FYI Western Digital Scorpio Black (2.5in) drive doesn't come with a SATA speed jumper

Nice. I go for years without encountering SATA incompatibilities only to encounter two in a week. The jumper settings on this drive only affect spread spectrum and a low power mode according to WD's documentation.

Because some chipsets, e.g. VIA 8237, cannot handle > SATA 1.5Gbps drives and will only detect them if they're jumpered to work in SATA 1.5Gbps mode.

That's a new one for me. Been using 2.5 SATA drives for seversl years now and have never see a jumper of any kind on any of them - Seagate, WDC, or Hitachi. Got a picture of one?
