It says that, but then keep reading, they go on to say this is only an assumption made by most people because the bottom is brown. There is no proof either way.

Really, how do you think twinkies are made then? Doesn't take a genius to figure out it's made from mostly flour and sugar.
 
Twinkies are good, their one of the few sweets I have every morning with my coffee that doesn't give me heartburn.
