FYI to PMers, KMart doesn't pricematch anymore

Went to Kmart yesterday trying to PM some of the deals from here, the cashier said they don't PM anymore, I asked since when, and the reply was "last week" my repsonse what that this is why Kmart is getting stomped by Wally World and Target and then I walked out.

I don't know, and this really bums me out too because I have always supported Kmart and would rather go there than either Target or Wally World.

my kmart stopped 'after sale price matching' almost a year ago, as of 2 months ago though (last time i was in) they would still do 'time of sale price matching'

Kmart doesn't exist in my city of 500K plus.
I can remember from my earliest years going to Kmart but I believe there have always been and always will be better companies to give my money to.

for what it's worth target hasnt pricematched for 6-8mo's now, atleast not here(central cal) anyways, I was told it's nationwide.

The closed the new Kmart in the town over and kept the run down Kmart in my town, the KrapMart looks like a ghost town, less than a mile away the new and clean looking Walmart is packed. I will not even step foot in my local Kmart. NO PM just another reason why Wallymart, and Target do well and Kmart is on lifesupport.

I didn't even know they were still in business. Maybe THAT's why they're getting stomped.

I should check them out sometime. I heard there were cheap hoes there...

Consider that if K-Mart goes out of business, I can guarantee that Wal-Mart will raise their prices. Wal-Mart kills their suppliers and has terrible service (if you don't believe me, look at the checkout lines). I agree that K-Mart needs to clean up their stores, but they have 10x better sales than Wally-World, and Target is trying to get too hip.

If you want variety in your stores, and low prices, patronize these guys. If you don't believe me in service, read the latest Consumer Reports, which rates grocery stores. Super Wal-Mart rated low in service, but high in price. I won't buy any more food at the one in Gilbert, AZ until they clean it up.
