Very nice bundle, purchased it for the higher bracket games.

Sup Com & Forged Alliance has been two of my favorite games. Frustrating at first but in a good way.

Me too provided it Sup Com 3 completely ignored everything from Sup Com 2. Unfortunately it seems like Wild Man is what Mr. Taylor wants to do.

supcom 2 is much maligned and a very good game; you need to get your head past the concept that it's "exactly like supcom 1", because it isn't - it's a new game. and it's really, really fun.

I should pick this up just so I have them on steam. Well the only one I own is Supreme Commander, so it isn't like it is a bunch of duplicates either...

I just bought the bundle and install Supreme Commander.

I'm sorry to offend but the first mission I played was absolutely a pain in the ass. The UI is clunky, units are slow to respond. It's nothing like normal RTS games, like SC2/C&C etc.

What am I missing? I uninstalled the game already due to the game feeling like a complete chore to manage units.

Supreme Commander is not designed to be a high-speed, adrenaline-fueled, APM clickfest like Starcraft. It is much more slower and deliberate, with battles happening on a larger scale with many more units. It requires more time to think and strategize.

Managing units isn't as much of a chore when you learn how to design and create patrol paths for them, which is one of the features that made the series so popular I think. You can automate most unit actions so you don't have to worry about them.

Don't forget the Sorian AI pack! It works just fine with the Steam version of Supcom FA.

That's the problem with it exactly. It's not really a sequel, it should've been a completely different name. Supcom 2 is something to be played on an iPad or tablet to kill 10 minutes.

I loaded the Soraian AI its a nice improvement. Can someone give me tips on where to find some good map packs? I have been having trouble locating them then figuring out how to get them into steam.
Thanks
