PD offices here will want $30 to do it. Then you have to pay the $10 transaction fee to the traffic department that issued you the citation as well. If you're near a CHP office they'll do it for free. This is for cases where you just can't seem to find an officer on the streets.

Why would you take your citation to the PD?

I'd take mine to a mechanic to get it corrected...

Everything in Cali costs money, and more than it should. No surprise 😛

Heh brother had one of those, an 83, but it was the "rare" 2 door model. Wasn't a bad car for what it was. Deer totaled it though.

There is a pension tsunami nationwide. Some Cities like Alameda Ca pay out over 75% of budget to people who are not working anymore. Bad math. How can you pay 1 years salary in and expect 30 out? I know no investment that good. Anyway this is the result. I'll be like Mexico soon, $20-$50 every time you get pulled over to pay current cops.

Still trying to figure this one out? Pay to fix your citation? If the citation has incorredt information on it, isn't that grounds for dismissal?

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I assume it's some sort of cali libnuttery...

QFT! They have rules out here that are pretty nuts. It's great how they keep raising taxes and fees to do business. THEN complain that the business is going to other states or countries. But I digress; if you find a cop on duty they will usually do it for free if you ask nicely.
