Your later have to login to the router and enable privacy to get the coaxial connection back up and get a DHCP lease.

This is something they failed to include in their 5 manuals and 279 page pdf. :|:|:|

Thanks for the heads up; havn't had to do it, but i can imagine it will happen someday. FiOS still rocks though.

Lol reminds me of trying to get port forwarding to work with my new DSL service. The DSL "modem" is also a router with full NAT capabilities so no matter how much I fiddle with the wireless router settings...DOH.

You're annoying.

STFU already.

Anyone that has FIOS knows you have a router and an ONT. Jesus Christ!

Yet you assumed the OP didn't know what he was talking about. Jesus Christ!

DO you have FIOS?

There's NO EXCUSE to make such rudimentary remarks to ME about this. I assumed nothing. With FIOS you have an ONT (Optical Network Terminal) and a router. I have reset the router before and never had this happen so I just wanted to clarify if the OP was talking about the ONT or router. I've never touched the ONT.

No need to make such a remark like that. Totally uncalled for. :|

What are you talking about?

The black cable (fiber) goes into the ONT and they have a piece of CAT5 that runs to the router with the CATV and lan ports. Running good ole WEP. :disgust:

>>Stop trying so hard. Seriously.

WTF are you talking about?

Man this forum is becoming idiotic as of late. SERIOUSLY!

The level of maturity of the majority of the replies in the world's smallest dog thread clearly shows that. Grow up or get laid for crying out loud.
