I had a bad habit of buying headphones in the $100-$200 range and then not opening them unsure whether I'd rather use or resell them.

Then a good deal came along on the Audeze better than any of the others so I got those to use.

It also had an amp on sale I got, the Audeze Deckard.

FWIW, I haven't really been able to tell much difference from the amp being used - might need to listen more to notice that, but if that's case it's sill not that big a difference.

Welcome to the club and enjoy. Of all of my headphones the LCD2.2R (rose wood) is my favorite. Mine is mainly paired with a vintage 1950's Magnavox tube amp. I have listened to it paired with the Deckard which I enjoyed.

I have several high end cables for mine and I really enjoy the Silver Dragon V3 Headphone Cable by Moon Audio.

550g...dear god.

How long can you wear those before it becomes uncomfortable?

Focal Utopia is 490g and I can barely wear those for more than 30mins without a kink forming in my neck, lol.

They don't bother me, but I saw someone say they were going to get another pair, and do neck exercises to get stronger:)
