I will be off the forums and such this week, as I've got to go to Chicago for training. That is, unless I can sneak out of class and find a PC connected to the Internet! 😉

Strates has graciously volunteered to do the Milestone Makers list while I am away, and I'm sure Paulson would be willing to fill in if Strates can't get to it any time. 😀

If there are any TA members in Chicago, let me know, maybe we can hook up for dinner some night. 🙂

One word of warning Ray..

Gin's although is damn good. Your going to have to wait to get it. They take 30 minutes to make it EVEN if you are the only person in the restaurant. (Which only happens at 11 am on a sunday).

One more thing its a tad on the expensive side. So be warned but its worth every damn cent.

Actually, I prefer Giodano's (SPLEING!) deep dish pizza. I do believe they were the first. Last time my mom was up there, she got two half baked pizzas frozen and one is still in the freezer... mmmmmmm good!

Ray, be sure to find out if there is a computer show the weekend you are up there, they normally have them in the convention center outside the airport. Oh and speaking of which, don't forget to visit the second Mc.Donalds also right by the airport (they tore down the first one to make... another Mc. Donalds!) If you find yourself near Mt. Prospect, don't look too hard for the Mount as it is like 20 feet tall 😛. (Some people will not go down that treacherous drop in their cars!)

I dunno which arena it is but I do know it has?had? a water tower with a rose on it .... perhaps it was the rosemont arena? I dunno. Been a while since I have been up there.
 
I know i talked to you in the chan, Ray, but once again: Enjoy Chicago!!! I have always liked going to Chicago, and its not bad, as I am only about 1.5-20 hours away 😀. But as you also know, I'l be gone most of this week, while Im in Virginia. Cool tho, be sure to check out the different sites. Sears Tower during the day is a must. You can see 4 states from atop it-- supposedly (just whip out ur bifocals 😉. Have a great time tho, andtry to check in if you can.
 
Damn, I just got back from Chicago.

And sadly, I didn't get ANY pizza! (foreshame, foreshame, forshame)

I did hit Lou Mitchell's for breakfast ... twice and the Wishbone once for dinner.

Oh yeah, Gore and friends were next door to my hotel (Allegro AKA Bismarck) Saturday night in the Cadillac. Too bad I missed the party, but not the protestors.
