IMO the point of the sticks is to a) not smell like deoderant and b) not smell like you are trying to get laid. It's a nice in between.

As I recall, Axe cologne/spray is notorious for not lasting very long. While this is probably a good business model (your customers use more) and merely an annoyance for the cologne-wearer, it is not a property I want to see in an anti-persperant/deodorant. Maybe they've changed but I'm not going to risk it 😛
