FX5900 256MB Ultra and power issues

To all you other guys with a 5900U what PSU are you running and did you ever come across something like this?

Well, just traded into a FX5900 256MB Ultra video card. The guy who I traded with said that he was having some power issues with it. I didn't think much of it since he was using a PSU of 350W and I have a Thermaltake 420W Purepower.

Well, here's a screenshot of the problem, any help or tips would be great

And yes I plugged it in through a molex connector.

Take note this only happens when I play games like FFXI and EQ. I can surf the net and play/watch DVDs just fine.

get an enermax 350 W psu, it will work awesome for your card...I have a generic 420W PSU months ago and that sh!t crashed my comp everytime and was very unstable, until i switched to an enermax 350W PSU...PSUs really depend on the brand type , sh!t-ty or genric ones don't do the job. I'm not sure bout Thermalright Psus however.

Asked the guy I traded with to give me as much detail as possible with the problems he's had with it...this is his reply

with my research, I found that it may be because of the nForce. I gave it to a friend to test and it worked fine for him on a KT400 Abit KD7 setup. He had a different PSU but from reading some reports it may be how some of the nForce was tweaked out of reference design that it is giving this issue.
They also state that the "nVidia Sentinal" is on the nForce chipset drivers and not on the video driver. You may research that more.
I just did nto have the time or patient.
Good luck

Whatcha guys think? I'm running a nForce chipset myself so making me wonder.

Ok, here's more info to try and fix this problem. There's no manufactorer on this thing, nor can I find one in any software program. The card looks exactly like this one...

Minus the heatspeaders over the ram and it's metal where it has black around the fan. There's also this 2 prong type of thing above the molex connect. On this card it looks like it's on the upper right hand side. Could that have anything to do with it?

Could you possibly show pics of the 2-pronged area you're talking about? I'm not too familiar with newer nVidia cards, as I'm an ATI guy myself, but it could also be a driver issue in combination with an nForce chipset (although that sounds ridiculous, what with GeForce and nForce both from nVidia you'd think they'd be most compatible...)
