Anyone seen any users running one of these mini-nuclear reactors doing projects? Friend of mine is trying to pawn off his to me in order to finance upgrade to a gaming laptop. Willing to practically give it to me for what I could sell my FX 8350 off for. Not sure I'd be confident with the Zalman. My FX 8350 running at stock is hitting 53-59c depending on ambient temps. Appears it's a compatible cooler.

With something that's running near 5.0GHz, you should probably look at any of the CLCs offered (Corsair H series for example).

At the very least you'll stay near the 53-59c, that you're use to.

I'm going to buy one for my new water-cooled rig. If you don't want it and the price is right, I will take it. I'm buying a part-a-month and am scheduled to buy the PSU, but I could defer that for a month.

Which water cooler you plan on going with?
