I have an FX 8350 running on a poor motherboard. I am planning to get a new mobo but am very strict on my budget. Please suggest me the best 970 chipset motherboard for my processor and i am not looking to overclock at all. I will be going FULLHD gaming soon and might get the new 380X or GTX 970 depending on how their showdown goes. I been troubled, kindly help.

I saw the MSI 970 gaming mobo. Looks nice. Any other suggestions please.

What is your current motherboard, and what is wrong with it?

Well i am from India so in INR value my budget can't exceed 8K.
Around 100$

Currently i am using Gigabyte 78LMT S2PT which runs on a 760 chipset and its PCIE express slot has died as well plus my processor is working horribly underclocked.

Without knowing what vendors you will be using it is difficult for people who don't live in the same area as you to recommend something to you. I would look for an asus or gigabyte model that fits your budget.

Not knowing prices, any of these should work well, if in budget and available:
Asus M5A97 EVO
Asus M5A97 PRO
Asus M5A97 R2.0 (not the LE; you do want the heatsinks)
ASRock 970 Extreme4
GA-970A-UD3 (best?)
GA-970A-D3

What is your power supply?

I could see the CPU running low if it will do that from VRM draw or temp, but with the PCIe slot gone, power events of some kind are rather likely culprits, and a weak PSU would make everything in the PC more vulnerable.

I have a corsair GS700. My gpu is Gtx 560Ti Zotac.
I think I'll opt for the m5a97 because it sounds promising. There's this board, msi 990fxa-gd65. How's it?
Because I am getting it for quite cheap.

Choices become much easier if you're not looking to overclock.
The 8350 is a power hungry beast that _will_ overwhelm all but the highest-end VRMs if you clock it balls to the walls.

Should do quite well, yes.

Given your PSU should be a fine one, do you tend to have power surges, voltage drops, power outages, etc.? If so, an AVR UPS, w/ PC connection and software, might be a good upgrade in the near future (you'll want 600VA or more). For the relative cost, Cyperpower is usually pretty good, if available.
