I don't know what to make of this cpu anymore, i find it hard to overclock it, i mean its different to my old Deneb.
The problem for me is i seem to read on the numerous bulldozer oc guides that you should turn LLC all the way to maximum, but on my Asus M5A78L-M LX when i turn LLC to 100 % and i set a voltage lets say 1.4 , when bring some Linpack pressure the vcore drops and remains between 1.25 - 1.26
Is this what i shouldnt be doing, meaning instead i should be putting LLC to 0% and have a stable vcore under load, closer to what i set. ?
But when i disable LLC, the voltage stays stable, but man at 1.3 im nearing 55 Celsius in Linpack, so that kinda scares me .
Im doing it wrong no ?
Im just trying to reach 4GHZ, i have it curently stable at 1.35 (with LLC 100%) @ 3.8 ghz.
For cooling i use an old Asus Triton 70, its not much but i think its better than the stock one no ?
Right now i set the Vcore to 1.42 in the bios, 4GHZ, and under load it gets 1.27 max,55 celsius, seems stable 30 minutes into a linpack run , should i continue like this ?
