FX-53 owners, what OS are you using?

Hello,

I'm building a game machine with all high end components and I have heard that running Windows XP Pro still has crash problems unless you run the beta WinXPPro64, is this true. Is anyone having issues with there FX-53 running just Windows XP Pro?
I hate running beta software and especially windows beta and when you build a new system you wnat to know that the OS is solid so any hang issues are not attributed to the OS and you can find any potoential bad parts for return.
Please let me know if you have any issues:
Here is my current idea for a system
AMD Athlon 64Fx-53
Asus A8V Deluxe VIA K8T800 Pro Chipset ATX AMD MB or Gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939
2 Gigs of 3500 unbuffered Ram
2 Western Digital 74 Gig Raptors in Raid 0
DVD ASUS 16X DVD
Case-TBD
PSU-TBD
Audigy zs Platinim Pro Sound Card
Windows XP Pro

its not true. a cpu is a cpu. since the fx is designed for windows, it does not affect the system by crashing.

What the? The FX-53 won't crash Windows XP Pro anymore than any Intel processor, i.e. never. HUH. It is a full x86 32bit processor. If something crashes it will be the Windows or Windows program. I repeat the FX-53 processor is a FULL X86 COMPATIBLE 32BIT PROCESSOR.

Remember the AMD 64's are full 32bit processors and will have full 64bit capability for Windows when Windows 64 is released. Of course Linux already has 64bit goodness

Also, the AMD64's can run 32bit code and 64bit code simultaneously! Don't ever listen if anyone tries to tell you that AMD processors are less reliable or incompatible with any x86 OS than Intel's. BS
