I have decided to get the FX-53 939 (yes I know it is foolish but I have no more truck payments and I want for once to get a computer that isn't two years behind the curve). I will get the phase change down the road, but for now I will overclock with air. I am looking at the Swiftech MCX6400-V and 80mm Sunon 50 CFM. Is this about the best for overclocking without the sound of jets taking off? Been there and done that. I don't mind some noise but not jet propeller noise.
I have a Vantec speed controller so I could control the noise to an extent but only to an exent
Thanks for your help because its been a few years since my last self built cpu install (plenty of other installations etc) and have fallen out of touch with the lastest heatsinks.
