Ok I have got this thing running out of the shute @ 2.6 ghz (1.475 core voltage)

idles @ 36 celcius goes to 39 celcius under load

1) Is the agp/pci locked @ 66/33?

2) Any other hints on what I should do?

3) Should this cpu run @ 2.8 ghz and @ what voltage to be safe?

(using Swiftech MCX-6400 + AC5 + Vantec Tornado for cooling 🙂 )

thanks in advance for some help w/this via stuff...

Also, original Corsair XMS ECC PC-3500 did not work. Had to use the OCZ stuff for her to post.

lol well... nothing like a good old fashioned overclocked agp slot 😱

Is it not true that the only differance between K8t800 and k8t800 pro is 1 pin on the cpu socket? and the dual channel memory thingy?

No, the CPU sockets are independent of the chipset. The biggest difference that I know of between the two is that the HT speed has been bumped up.

And remember, the memory controller is now on your CPU so the chipset is independent of that feature as well.

Thanks dude... u outa see the bios options in this thing..... manual doesn't tell u what anything does lol oh well, lock and load.

😱 then u could help me flip some switches on this crazy bios. Christ I think I'm the only one to buy this board besides anand. (hell and he prolly got one for free)
