what browser are u using? what OS are u on now?

I rest my case. MS does make good products, but they're money grabbing, privacy invading PsOS

No, they don't make good products, they make popular products that are crappy and user friendly, the reason I use it is because I won't find all the software for other operating systems (read: linux) but lets not let this turn into a flame war :)

First of all, Outlook 2000 does the same thing with the latest security patches. Secondly, you can "fix" it using this MS KDB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q290/4/97.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=security%20registry&rnk=4&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=OL2002

And thirdly, CALM DOWN!

NFS4 -

You just added about four years to my life.

I have been forbidden to use Eudora, and was FORCED to use XP. I almost had a heart attack three times with it so far.

Is this part of Microshaft's efforts to lose Outlook's tag as #1 virus spreader ever?

I know the security patch for Outlook 2000 pretty much blocked all attachments by default.

Man, I've seen a bunch of different versions of Outlook and found them to be less desirable than most web based email clients. Every email client that I've ever used is better than outlook. Yet my work forces me to use outlook (once every few weeks or so, I can do pretty much everything in Pegasus Mail)

Murpheeee: What are you talking about? Microsoft products are ALREADY the biggest virii on the planet.

Norton just released a new anti-virus product for Windows-based systems. It's a boot disk that executes a low level format. :D

you just have to hack up the registry just like what NFS wrote. that's what happened to me when i first got XP... apparently, these are Level 1 (UNSAFE, oooh) attachments that MS will not let (L)users open.

Is anyone else dreading xp like the plague? the whole online registration system is just plain scary. I went through that with the academic version of frontpage 2000: register it too many times and you have to call them for "approval." Screw that.

I don't even know if you can buy regular office 2000 anymore.

They're making a list and checking it twice.
If you like privacy you better not bite.
Office XP's coming to town.

It seems to be:
2000: Suprisingly good and removed alot of annoyances
XP: Annoyances? ANNOYANCES? You thought Office97/Win98 had annoyances? You haven't seen nothing yet! MUAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA!!!

If Microsoft (It's small and it's not hard...) software were viruses, then why are they such bastards when it comes to liscencing and piracy?
