(Not trying to flame-bait here...just pointing out the hypocrisy in the mainstream media)

From the picture the victim appears to be dark-skinned.
4 girls +1boy,
So much for girls being "nice" .. However when I was a kid I can remember some kids being completely cruel+ sadistic, and then other gullible retarded children just follow them and think its cool.. And if you are a bad parent your kid will be more likely to be influenced by a cruel/sadistic type kids.. just my observation/conclusion.

I too am surprised the charge was not attempted murder. Also surprised the 12yo was released to his parent instead of put in a facility until trial. I wonder if there are bond hearings for young offenders.

To think I feel bad to this day about burning some ants, snails and earthworms with a magnifying glass one afternoon. What can be going on in the minds of those kids?

The little bastards should be tried for attempted murder and shot. Children have too much power these days.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.. Where has personal responsability gone? Why do we refuse to seal up these loopholes that these kids know about and are exploiting? :disgust:

Better solution would be to take their fathers nuts, and lay em on the table, just the nuts, and smack them sh1ts with a spiked bat. BLAAAAOWWWW

In this type of situation, I blame the parents infinitely more than I blame the children, and am glad the latter won't be going to jail...and will instead be sent to a program that will, as the article puts it, aim to alter their destructive behaviors.

Kids this young maybe should know right from wrong, but they're still kids. They might've messed up, but there's still a chance to set things straight.

However, because it's likely their parents won't ever care enough to do this themselves, the prognosis doesn't seem promising.
