I'm sick and tired of this. I HATE people that wear cologne, especially in public. It reeks. It gives me headaches, and everyone I talk to agrees that it makes them feel sick or gives them headaches. It isn't only that, but people drench themselves in cologne, and they are always the ones to stand at the door talking or stand by the water cooler. I can't go to a nice restaurant, work in my office, or even walk around outside without being deluged by the smell of sh!tty cologne that makes me sick. I think a majority of people agree with me that it causes headaches and that it reeks. We should just ban it in public places. If you want to wear cologne in your car or in your private home then that is fine, but I don't think I should have to smell it in public.

Wearing cologne is better than waking up earlier in the morning and showering.

I wear only a little cologne, just enough so that when you're really close you can smell it.

Right now my g/f's fav is Curve, so I wear it.

I can't stand too much. It's all about one spray out the bottle so you don't smell like you bathe in it.

Most cologne wearers are NOT considerate people. I have a right to being able to breath without having to smell your crap. You might only wear a little and be considerate, but most of you assholes are not that way. You're a jerk for wearing cologne.

I rarely wear cologne, but in rare instances that I do, I wear it very lightly.

I hate it when people have too much on, but if it's in little amount, I don't mind

If the only way you can get rid of your BO is by wearing cologne I think you might want to invest in some soap and deodorant.

Haha, you sound like my room mate...his idea of washing his clothes is a spritz of lysol and fabric un-wrinkler.

He changes clothes about 3 times a day, and takes 2-3 showers a day... And each time he takes ~30-40 minutes. And he usually wakes up around 2:00 or 3:00.

And now, he spends ALL his waking ours w/ his new G/F, ignoring all his other friends such as myself. He stays out w/ her every night until about 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning, so it's like I don't even have a room mate :p

At least second-hand cologne isn't a serious known health hazard like cigarette smoke is.

Besides, a majority of people wear cologne or perfume; a majority don't smoke.

Hence smoking is banned in public while cologne is not.

Umm... everyone I know gets headaches or has allergies from it. Do you have any proof that ECS is NOT a health hazard? Didn't think so. I think if I cough from it, get a headache from it, and don't like the smell then it MUST be bad and MUST be banned.

Given the choice: BO or cologne, I'd pick cologne. Of course they should wash but some people prefer not to
