Fvcked up audio setup question

Ok, this is probably a really retarded question, but just let me know if this is possible.

My friend just got a 10in MTX 250W RMS sub. Just the sub and enclosure, no amp. I have a set of Logitech Z-2200 2.1 speakers that can pump out 120W RMS to the sub.

Is it possible for me to open up my Logitech sub box, disconnect the amp from the Logitech sub, and wire it to my friend's MTX to see what the MTX sounds like? I know the MTX will be underpowered with 120W, but is this possible and/or dangerous?

If that's a car sub, its going to sound like crap. Those boxes and subs are designed with an enclosure in mind, not a living room. So although it will produce sound it won't be right.

I know. I guess all I'm going for is to be able to see this sub move. That's it. I don't care about audio quality. I just wanna know if it works. Kinda like a fun little ghetto project thing.
