So I call them up and they say that the wait time is two minutes. 30 minutes later I am still on the phone. "Your call is very important to us" THEN FVCKING ANSWER IT!

So you're the chump who gets to wait while I pinch a loaf in the bathroom of the Wells Fargo call center.

ohhh this is good.
I got gas in Windsor, but it was really expensive so I didnt fill it up, just got enough to go home. Then I drove to Santa Rosa and filled up there (cheeper). Apparently I drive like the wind and they assumed my card was stolen. According to their computer I couldn't have made it to santa rosa from windsor in such a time. Anyways, their computer left a message on my answering machine and I called them back, told them it was me and expected everything to be good. This was two days ago.

So today, I got to buy some shirts from Thinkgeek. Says im denied. Whatever, I think thats odd, but didnt have time to deal with it. About an hour ago I go the store to buy some food, same thing, danm card doesnt work. So I get home, grab a small bite to eat and call.

And here I am. They say that they are open 24/7 7 days a week, but im not seeing it.

Did you actually check your transaction history to make sure that's what they were concerned about?

What pisses me off about wells fargo is the 1$ a month charge if you use your debit card at any time during the month.

Be sure to use speakerphone too. It makes it easy to watch TV or something when you're on hold. :)

Bluetooth is so awesome. I love my headset. Same with speakerphone when I have to deal with Dell or B of A.

I hate Bank of America more than Wells Fargo. I switched from Fargo to B of A only because it was "more convenient" at school. Yea, I'd rather walk the extra 30 ft to Wells Fargo and get better service..

WTF are you talking about? lol

My girlfriend and I use our debit cards several dozen times a month and have never been charged such a fee.

I think he means there's a $1 if you use your check card LIKE a debit card (i.e. you enter your PIN into the kiosk instead of simply swiping it through).

hmm.. I don't really get what you mean. You always have to enter your pin for a debit transaction.

There's two ways you can do it. Debit, which is swipe card and enter pin.. and credit card, which is swipe card and sign receipt.

Wells Fargo charges fees for neither. They do, however, charge a fee for using a non-Wells Fargo ATM. But I think that's pretty standard.

Gotcha...I thought you were using the word "debit" as a substitute for "check card," and didn't actually mean "debit." :D

Maybe the OP is confused and doesn't realize what the $1 fee is for. I know BankOne doesn't charge any sort of fee for debit use.
