God damn! I left work early (which at my work is on time) today and took some buddies on a trip to Good Guys are Arden to get my girlfriend an "I love you" gift of an AT&T Motorola V60 because I'm going down to So Cal in a week and a half and I want to talk to her.
So, I get there at 8 and fill out everything and they tell me they need to do the regular old credit check. I tell them if its ok that I come back in half an hour and pick up the phone and pay for it. Well, I get there at 8:40 and I have to wait 10 minutes before I get any help at all, and it turns out that nobody ran my credit check, so they'll have to do it now. I wait for another 15-20 minutes and they tell me nope, the AT&T credit check center is closed so they can't sell me the phone. FVCK! I have an AT&T phone, and credit cards and work full time so I'm pretty sure I can qualify for their lousy credit rating. So, the manager gives me crap about how they are so cheap and crap while amazon will give it to me for free and I don't have to deal with these lazy ass workers. They won't even let me pay full price for the phone and give me it back later when they run through the credit check. I'm stuck in their damn store an hour and all they can give me is, you should buy it from us. I even talked to the store manager and was treated like some fvcken kid that probably was paying for it with his parent's money.
Anyway, after leaving the damn store my radiator cracks, shooting my car temperature from the optimal half-way mark to the red zone. I spend about half an hour waiting for the engine to cool down and hose it with some water at the nearest gas station. After that, I buy some anti-freeze/coolent and some radiator temp fix goo that I shove into it. It seems to fix it well and spend another half hour to an hour getting it all running before I decide the car is safe to drive.
With my heat on full blast and all 4 windows down, I drive my 30 miles back to Davis with hot hot air coming at my face and semi-cool air rushing in from the windows.
Ok, end rant and I feel a bit better. FVCK GOOD GUYS and god damn, I wonder how muc hit'll cost me to fix my car. Coolent system flush is like 50 bucks and I don't even know if its just the radiator or an additional electrical problem because the radiator fans didn't turn either. God damn!
On a good note though, I met some helpful people outside of Arco although all but one asked me for some spare change afterwards.
EDIT: Currently looking for corporate The Good Guys address to write my complaint to.
