About 10 years ago I remember only having $0.98 to my name to last me 2 days.

I was starving, nothing in the fridge. Fortunately, the local grocery store had a Lunchables for an even $.98

yeah man i know what you're saying... no frills has some chicken pies for like 60 cents... so sweet 😀

It's tough isn't it? Just having less than $1 to your name.

No cash, $1 in the bank that's it.

I'm even POORER now but thankfully I've got plastic, lots of it 😉

Yea and then he could get a get a timbit or 2.

Aren't Timbits like 15 cents?

"Hi there, I'd like a timbit."
"How many?"
"1, wait, maybe I can afford 2!"

50% of my paycheque goes to savings now. Although I do live and eat at home 🙂
