It is not cold here AT ALL. I can't even wear a sweater, I'd die of heat exhaustion. I tried to take a nap, slept for about 30 minutes ago but woke up and it felt like I was on fire! It's so hot in this damn place! I need cheaper insulation or something (it feels pretty nice outside). The building is made of brick and there are no shadows from taller buildings, so it just sits there absorbing the sun all day and keeping things way too hot.

During the summer we run the air conditioning to keep it nice, but how can I justify running the air conditioner when it's almost february?! We havne't turned on the heater yet, and I have the feeling that we won't be able to. It's a gas heater, and the apartment gets free gas heating. I should have known that there was a catch though; you'll never want to run your heater because it's way too hot in the winter as is!

Thank you for rubbing it in. I hope you burst into flames in the heat as punishment for mocking the colder parts of the world.

Hehe, I pity you hot-weather folks! It's -5 here right now, but Whoozyerdaddy's area is about -50. We are both in Alaska.

Kinda cold. Compared to where you are, it's a toasty 40 (but this morning it was 20 :().

Been warm here as well. December was pretty cold but January has been nothing but low to mid 30s and the last two days over 50 lmao.

I warn you, this is a possibility! I don't even know the definition of cold anymore! I take showers that are significantly cooler than room temperature!

I would try turning up the A/C and maybe bring the temp down to 78 (since it's freaking 90 degrees in here). I just can't bring myself to raise the electric billt hough. It was almost under $20 last month and I run a powerhog of a computer w/ CRT monitors!

So other places are having this sort of problem too? I'm glad other people are slightly warm, but I'm pissed off that I'M ON FIRE!!!

Yeah, funky weather in the Boston area. The past few days are the only real cold day we've had all of this winter. It was in the freaken 60s last week!

Have you tried...oh i don't know...opening the windows? We are using the heat often in our house this month and last (at night). Of course we are shaded most of the time, and it stays cool in here even in the summer.

You must not have lived here very long. 50 degrees is cold to me now, and I've been here 5 years (I'm originally from MN, so i KNOW cold). I'm loving the weather right now...(although some damn rain would be nice).

It used to be great weather at about 50F near RI a week ago, but now it's back to typical winter; high of 35F and expecting snow storm.

If you do spontaneously combust, please take some pictures and post them before you are completely incinerated.

It's stupid. I wear t-shirts down in so-cal when I visit and I think it's retarded. The mere fact that you can't even enjoy a sweatshirt is stupid.

It's like 50s-60s in norcal and that pwns. That way we can wear our sweatshirts and when the sun comes out we can get into thinner layers.

Hot areas blow.

Based on my experiences from where I work (a grocery store), I could believe it.
