Fuzzy Screen (new gpu)

acquired a gt210 for free

And installed it, got it up and running

The screen is kinda fuzzy. I uninstalled the drivers for my old GPU (x1500) then installed GPU, then installed the drivers.

I'm not sure why its fuzzy, or not as crisp as before

it has both but im using the blue one

I have a converter to use the white one.

Plugged it into the white one VIA a converter.

Its like still using DVI-I instead of DVI-D. Does your monitor not have a white connector at all? If it does you will definitely want to use that in preference to converting because it will produce a sharper clearer image.

Blue = Analog (aka, a general representation of the pixels)
White = Digital (aka, a pixel perfect representation)

It's like using component vs HDMI to hook up an HDTV. All digital is favored by far.

Yup, you can. Does your graphics card have HDMI? I think you could likely use both digital interfaces at once...

I was gonna say, check that you are running native resolution for your monitor. Sometimes it doesn't display the native resolution automatically. Happened a couple times at work, didn't kick over when swapping out monitors.

I do have HDMI but the second monitor is my dads old sync master and it only has the blue connector

I had it set at the native resolution. That was the first thing I checked.
