Dish Satellite Service
I recently moved to a new condo. I moved my dish satellite service as well.
I immediately noticed that my pictures were fuzzy and were not as sharp as they were previously. I had amazing picture before I moved. I thought it has to do with the signal/installation of my dish; but 3 technicians, new receivers, new cables, new everything later - my picture was still bad.
I checked the resolution on both my source Dish Satellite Receiver and PS3 and they are both set to 1080p.
It was then that I started thinking that might not be my satellite service. I tested out the picture on both TVs (separate rooms) with my PS3 and a Bluray disc and picture was bad. Thinking that it could be the power in my condo unit, I had an electrician come in and check out the power supply. The voltage and ground was good.
I wanted to rule out interference, so I shut down the power to the rest of my condo, disconnected all electronics except my TV(s) and tried the bluray and my picture was still bad.
I am now at a loss to what I should do...I am wondering if it is EMI/RFI issues.
Any suggestions/help would greatly be appreciated.
