fuzzy monitor

I just noticed today that my monitor is quite fuzzy. I look at something not on the monitor, on the desk for example, and it is in focus to my eyes. That rules out the possibility of my needing new glasses.

Monitor: KDS VS-7 2 - 3 years old
Video: GeForce 256 InnoVision 5 - 6 mo. old

The monitor remains turned on 24/7, screensaver in use.

Is it the monitor (my first choice) or the video card ??
 
Well the 2d quality on the Geforce probably isn't very good, especially at 1024x768+. On the other hand, your monitor is okay though not the highest quality. Kinda hard to tell but if you just noticed it's fuzzy then maybe the monitor is dieing?
