Fuzzy/Blurry 2D Text in ME?

I just reformated, got my 28.32's installed, 1024, 32-bit, and the text is extremely blurry. This is a GF DDR that has worked solid for the past 2 years. Any suggestions about settings?? Thanks. I haven't tried 3D and wont be using 3D for a while so I have no way of testing whether this is limited to 2D only.

Fondling around with the cable definitely helped.

Double-check refresh rates too.... might have jumped higher than your monitor was designed for.
