Fuzzy and Laggy BIOS?

Just stepp-ed up from a 7950GX2 to an 8800GTX. Game performance is fine, at least from my limited testing. However, the BIOS and start-up screen before the Windows start-up screen are extremely laggy, in that you see that it takes time to render the words. Also, when I go into BIOS setup, the text is blurry. Anything in Windows looks fine, but the BIOS is blurry and kind of laggy, anyone know if this an actual problem or just something that happens to BIOS's displayed by an 8800?

Have you tried running your system at stock speeds?

How about flashing your system to the latest BIOS?

It's an issue that will be resolved if it hasn't been already with a newer bios..
Good thing that you reminded me of that to check it..

You have the same problem? And how'd you manage to overclock your proc that much. :Q

I've actually noticed with the 8800GTX that the BIOS text isn't as clear as it is was with previous cards (text has a slight shaodow). Also, the POST and RAID hardware screen draws are not instantaneous... You can actually watch the text scroll onto the screen, as opposed to it just popping up. I wouldn't go so far as to call it 'laggy' though. If it took like 5 secs to load, that would be one thing, but I'm talking like a second to draw the POST screen as opposed to it just flashing to life.

Well it doesn't stop you from doing anything that you could do before just going a bit slower, but nothing that is annoying at least in my bios.. I don't get the fuzzy text, mine is clear.
Besides that ,I just press enter and type the # of fsb I want along with the other needed changes, I don't increase it incrementally..

Yeah, that's what I meant. Thanks for confirming that there's nothing broken with my card... yet.
