Hi Guys, i'm looking for an futuristic rpg game because i'm getting bored of the stone age rpg's and i did play star wars nights of the old republic but it was to boring so i want something that i can create a character and then explore worlds in the game like borderlands but it should have decent graphics ,the character can be leveled and then unlocks items in the game almost like MW3 suvival and then bought by the character at shops and items could be found and then added onto weapons and stuff like that you must be able to drive vechiles and airplanes and must have lan capabilatys for at least two friends it must be able to be runed on a machine with a pentium g840 4GB RAM and a 1GB 64bit GPU. Please help i think i'm getting so bored that i might give up gaming!!!!!And i truly don't want to🙁🙁🙁

I've got nothing for you, but your post made me want to find a game where I could gain experience for slaying run-on sentences. :hmm:

HAAHHAHAH! KT at it's best!

@OP: Sorry, can't find anything that suites what you're looking for. Maybe Far Cry 3 have some of your criteras like vehicules, XP, weapon customization and unlocks but I don't think your rig would give FC3 justice...not even sure you could run it well enough to be enjoyable.

Maybe check Krater in Steam? Looks like a post-apocalyptic squad based RPG. I have it but didn't played yet.

X-Com Enemy Unknown is good to but you don't drive vehicules.

[a reader] casts Spell of Punctuation on you! You take 23453 damage. You take +6783 critical damage!

[a reader] casts Capitalization on you! You take 12510 damage! You have died!

Reloading...

Mass Effect trilogy is a great sci-fi RPG but doesn't meet all your requirements. The story part is single player but there is a mutliplayer part too.

Maybe Borderlands 2 would fit the bill.

Mars: War Logs is an interesting B-grade RPG, if you don't mind something more story-oriented.

"Firefall"
"BattleStar Gallactica Online"
"Startrek Online"
"Knights of the Old Republic"
"EVE"
"Dust514"
"Earthrise" was scifi but got taken down, but I think is going to be re-released.

Check out Just Cause 2, it does not fit all your requirements, but with the multiplayer expansion it will come the closest.

OP given your ancient system, would you consider an Infocom adventure? Or 'Wasteland'? There are a few others I think...

Wasteland had no vehicles (just a giant Scrorpitron to fight), but you could hot-seat the keyboard for multiplayer I suppose:

- Bob types A to make one attack roll, misses the giant mutant bunny.
- Bob gets up from chair
- Jim sits down, types A to make one attack roll, damages the giant mutant bunny by 1 HP.
- Jim gets up from chair
. . .

Hmmm... that's a tough one...

What about FireFall? It's still in beta though but it's "futuristic", is pretty much a shooter in MMO land and you've got your usual PvE and PvP content and fighting A.I. mooks to find items and so on. I myself barely tried it so far (played maybe half an hour) so I can't properly analyze it but maybe you could consider it. And it's free, but I think you still need an invite to participate in the beta (not sure about that though maybe it changed since the last time I checked like two months ago).

If not... I'd say... well maybe the Mass Effect trilogy or Borderlands 2.

That's for recent ones that is.

While I could not force myself to read that post, I did read the title, and wanted to mention that CDProjekt Red is making a futuristic RPG called Cyberpunk. Beyond that, Mass Effect a d Fallout were the last futuristic RPGs I have played.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a pretty awesome, futuristic RPG.

Pretty sure it won't run on your system though. It runs like dirt on anything that isn't a quad core.

Edit: Well, a pentium g840 is hyperthreaded... so it might work.

Anarchy-Online is great, although the graphics are a bit dated and there aren't as many players as there used to be.

Shadowrun: Returns comes out next month. Also might want to check out Starbound, which should hopefully have a beta soon. There is also the Fallout and Stalker series.
