Future of monitors?

In the world of predictions I'm no expert. I did think Clinton would win by a landslide... but I won't let this little setback prevent me from trying again at more tangible predictions, such as the future of monitors.

The best way to look at tomorrow's monitors is to look at today's tv's. LG and Samsung both just came out with what I believe are game changers: tv's with their internals put in a box which is connected to the screen by a near invisible cable. The result is a tv with a display only a few millimeter thick and almost bezel free.

That configuration on a monitor is even more appealing since the box with its electronics can be integrated in the stand. So when are we to see bezel free, ultra thin, curved gaming monitors? I say 2 years...max!
