Does anyone know what changes in dual processor motherboard can be expected in 1H 2003? In particular dual Athlon mobos. is there going to be any official support for faster memory, bus speeds, etc?

I wnat to build that new PC, but I think I'm going to wait for hte next generation of dually Athlon mobos.

I'm not exactly sure about any new things happening to the dual athlon mobos, but around that time, we should be seeing Hammer setups. These will kick ass of any system out on the market.

I wouldnt expect to see any changes. AMD has long since confirmed the 760MP/MPX would be their only Dually Athlon cipsets, and it's highlyt unlikely SiS or VIA will attempt a dual Athlon board. ServerWorks is out of the question until AMD becomes a bigger player in the low-mid range server market.

All of which leaves only AMD themselves, and they've clearly got little desire to into any further dual Athlon chipsets.
In all likelyhood you won't see another AMD chipset until the ClawHammer is introed.
