Just got a Galaxy S10+. It uses a USB-C connector. And Apple is using USB-C now. The biggies have aligned. The end of the world is nigh!

So, what format connector is on the horizon that will make us buy a bunch of new cords?

^ Because a phone is portable and adding a wireless charging coil to increase the size and weight of a phone is silly when the base still needs a cord tethered to a wall so you eliminated ZERO cords.

However I'd be all for a magnetic two contact charge connector for the cord so there is no fragile socket to mess with. I'd prefer that for a headphone connection too, not needing yet another battery for another (headphone) thing to charge. Data, yeah that might as well be done wirelessly.

Because chords make music sound better.

if its mp3 you wont notice a difference
if your using earbuds you wont notice a difference

unless your using a good system with a good dac and lossless files you wont notice a difference
