Futurama Set for Cartoon Network After-Life
Cinescape reveals tat the Cartoon Network will be airing reruns of the year-3000 show as part of its Sunday Adult Swim programming, which aims to get adult viewers to watch more cartoons. Futurama will start showing in January. This comes at the same time Fox, which has not officially cancelled the show but which has not ordered any new half-hours produced, still has a season's worth of un-aired episodes set to air next season.

While we're on the topic of adult-oriented cartoons:

Any of you remember a mini-series cartoon aired on primetime WB a couple years ago? It ended with this orb that imploded, sucking in the house and ground around it.

I wish I could remember some more details, but it was a while ago, and it only aired once. Sweet cartoon.

edit: any of you know remember what it was called?
