Tables to use with text in a post. We can do numbered and bulletted lists... why can't we make tables?

Because if you don't close one you could screw up the rest of the page. Do you think every person here knows how to properly code tables? I'd bet alot more than half do not.

True. However, wouldn't it be possible to search/close tags automatically? I mean, I see a lot of threads where quotes go on forever entirely bolded because one person near the beginning forgot to close their bold tag. However, I don't see that often. People learn because it's there to learn. I'm sure lots of people on this board don't know jack crap about simple things like closing bold/italics/underline tags, and yet you've managed to derive a system to do it automatically (if they click the bold button and type their text).

Just a suggestion. If I were familiar with Cold Fusion and FuseTalk, I'd build it myself and submit the code. I guess this just has to be one of those "Ain't gonna happen" deals, huh.

I would think that less than 5% of AT'ers know the syntax for hand coding tables. An autoclose shouldn't be too hard to implement, and can be used with all the tags. That would be great!
