Looks like it cools extremely well, but I couldnt say as to the VRMs. It certainly wouldnt hurt, but how much it would help is still fairly unknown as the voltage utilities only recently got released to the public

You can have it a bit more silent, OC ability wont differ much.
the guy saying it was a OC dream was high on acid and he actually works for amd.
I bet there are some users out there who put ekwater blocks on their fury, google it.

Watercooling probably doesn't help Overclocking much on the Fury X. I have the R9 290 Hawaii cpus (two in CF) and have both watercooled with EK blocks. There is a tremendous improvement in core thermals but that doesn't translate into a lot more overclockability.

The Fury X has a considerably more potent cooling setup by default than the 290 as well.

With the Fury X's running so cool with the stock Coolermaster pumps I wouldn't waste your money (unless you got a whiny 1st gen pump). I really doubt you'll get much more than what the stock cooler provides. My cards barely touch 50C under hard loads.
