I had a lazyboy recliner sofa in college (it is the bomb..it is still downstairs where the kids play games and watch movies)

we purchased some new (POS furniture from rooms to go) and it sux. I am looking for a leather recliner. However, my wife the designer does not like the way they look. Has anyone purchased a recliner leather sofa that looks nice?

Have you been to a decent furniture store to look at the thousands of display sofas?

Not sure where you live but just take aday and hit a bunch and look around. But I don't like leather sofas either...
 
i have one, but i don't have a picture online right now. i'll try to take one tonight. i bought it at a macy's furniture outlet (and for a friggin good price too, just a shade under 600 dollars for a leather recliner sofa, retail was 2000).

it doesn't have the handles on the outside of the sofa, but inside near the cushions by the arms. it was actually a surprise when we picked it out - we liked it because it wasn't messed up and the color i wanted, and then the sales guy showed us the recliners. the two ends fold out into recliners. it's pretty comfy and really soft leather. i personally love my couch.
