Furniture for a 42 in LCD TV

Hi all,

I am wondering what kind of furniture/ stand is everyone using to support their big screen plasma/ lcd TV of 40 in or more if you are not hanging it..

I need some good advice

mine is almost like this (i have a 42" plasma), but apparently ikea doesnt carry the one i bought a couple years ago anymore. its pretty cool tho, mine has the doors only at the bottom corners. one for remotes/ manuals and stuff, the other for the ps2/ nintendo and parts. nice, sturdy table. ex wife has a 300lb behemoth flatscreen sony tv, and she has this one, but a bit shorter

both would make a good 42" plasma table.

My stand current view

50" DLP on a stand I bought off ebay for $150 two years ago. I improved it by putting a black flannel back around it to hide wiring and light leakage.

Really liked this one too, but it was about $1200 and takes 6-8 weeks for delivery.
