Anyone here purchase a sofa/couch/love seat from Big Lots, they are having a discount sale this weekend and was wondering if it's worth it. Places like Raymour and Flanagan have good furniture, but is so so overpriced.

Probably low quality, but if you like it, you like it. I wouldn't expect it to last for your kids, but if you need something on the cheap, it should do the job.

Bought a kids mattress set there once (they have some crazy coupon annually, maybe more often). It's been fine. Not great, but not bad at all. Anything that wasn't upholstered looked flimsy and plastic-y. The couches looked decent enough.

Check out Value City Furniture too. Without telling me, my mom bought a bedroom set and a living room set from there. I never would have considered it myself and would have strongly advised her against it. But 13+ years later, I have to admit the stuff had been just fine.

I have bought from Big Lots. Depends on what you are getting. Many stores receive closeouts from Bassett and Broyhill. Some is good quality but may have surface damage, so inspect thoroughly

I bought a sofa from them when I first moved out on my own. It looked good and the price was right for me at the time. Now that I'm a little older I realize it was on the small side.
I'm not tall (6') and I couldn't fully stretch out on it. Also the cushions were attached to the frame so I couldn't remove them to get more space or clean it easily.
Overall it was a decent sofa for the price and it lasted me several years before I put it on the curb.
