Funny thing just happened at the ATM

So I was pulling up to the drive-thru ATM at my bank, when I see something out of the corner of my eye. Apparently, the guy in front of me drove off before he got all of his withdrawl. Looked to be at least $60. I didn't know what to do, so I kinda just sat there in front of the ATM for awhile, calculating my deposit (yes I'm one of those jerks). All of a sudden, the ATM takes the money back in and closes up. Nifty trick, cause I really didn't know what I would've done had it not.

If it hadn't popped back in, I honestly have no idea what was going to happen? Do I just leave it there in case the guy comes back? Do I count it as a blessing and take it (cause the guy behind me sure as hell would've)?
 
Don't they all do this? It did this to my atm card, when I forgot to pull it out. I had to get it from the bank the following monday.

Do they? It was the first time it happened to me. If I wanted to take the money, I could've, but I just sat there kinda dumbfounded.

You should have taken the money, then deposited it directly into you're account. There would have been no repercussions...
 
I have never heard of that happening with money. You should probably call the bank and let them know what happened so it can help him get his money back =

Alright I lied. Chuck Norris came outta nowhere, delivered a roundhouse kick to my face, stole the $60 and my two paychecks 🙁
 
I put in my atm card once right before they shut it down for manual service...went into tell them to give me my card. They asked for ID verified SS address....motherfvcker i was just out there don't treat me like a criminal
 
LOL, if that happened to me I would probalby think the little man in the ATM was fscking with me and wait for it to pop back out or something. Would be weird to see the ATM suck the money back up.

Except for the 2 or 3 security cameras filming him the entire time.
