well, not really today, but anywayz.....

i was installing half-life after a clean format, but i had my cd (legal might i add), but my case was missing, so i saw my old starcraft case lying around and i said, what the hey, I type it in...and it worked!!!!!

just thought i might share with you guys.

Does it work on WON? And I wonder if it would work the other way around. I have my StarCraft CD, but no case.

You should try it again on a new system just to make sure. Damn.. You need to make sure the world knows about this. Call Leno and Letterman.. Don't bother with Conan. Also, this should be stickeyed on top of this forum. Call CNN too.. Redirect Geraldo from Afghanistan to your location - this is definately more important. Also, call Pizza Hut.. They'll give you pizza for life for being the one person who got their Starcraft code to work with Half Life. After that, get a safety deposit box and contact a body guard. You definately don't want other people stealing your secrets. You might want to contact the Michigan Militia too.

actually, it works on WON and fully works with everything. To test it, i tried installing again, and it worked!

Yeah, well when I was installing Starcraft, I couldn't find my CD key, so I just started typing random numbers. I got one on about the fifth try.
