This weekend I found myself again fixing my cuz's PC, its a p133, its a piece of junk. I had intalled a 20gb maxtor, and ezbios, but hadn't setup their modem because, i have very little modem expierience. So this weekend I was doing that, they had totally messsed the thing up, Had to reinstall 98 and a few of their programs, went to try the modem out, clicked on connect to their isp, It says initializing modem, and their printer starts up, pulls in a piece of paper and prints on it a bit. needless to say we got a can not initialize modem error. After removing the modem from system and reinstalling it, I got it working, but they plan on using that pc, a p 133 with 50mb edo, to burn cds from napster and stuff, how long would it take to convert a cd of mp3's to wav's?? hmm i told them out right, it is stupid to try. . . .
