A couple of months ago, we organized a tour of a Ford plant (hint - where the Ford focus is made). Before we began the tour, our guide was chatting with us about Ford products and I mentioned that my family would never buy a Ford again because we had a really bad experience with Ford. He started quoting statistics about failure rates and how they have improved a lot since the 90s (when we had our last Ford). At the end of the tour, you go through the Quality Control section and our guide was bragging about all the checks and double checks on all Focus cars that roll out of the plant.
I was confused because while he was talking, some of my friends were trying really hard not to laugh. They then pointed out to me towards the QC area where the only worker in the department was taking a nap on a picnic table (yes, they have picnic tables right next to the lines). So the guide saw this, smiled and said "He's probably on his lunch break". As we were walking away, the production line stopped and the guy woke up, unpacked his lunch and started eating (when lines stop, thats when lunch time begins).
And the best part is, out guide was one of the higher up supervisors of the whole plant.
